The Stylist’s Kit
On a photo shoot you will need quite a few styling supplies, from body tape to safety pins. You can expect to be provided with an iron and ironing board at the studio or location house, with the option of hiring a steamer, but the rest is up to you. There are many sets of kit you might need – your main kit, on-set kit, fittings kit, menswear kit or a celebrity kit.
Your main kit will contain all your styling supplies. You won’t need to take everything to every shoot and you are not expected to have all the items on the list and illustrations below – it is intended more as a guide to your tools and how to use them.
